Sarah serves as a Senior Consulting Associate for Heaton Smith. She brings more than twenty years of fundraising management experience in healthcare and academic organizations to our team.
Credits:
Vice President for Development, Oregon Health & Science University. Led 55-person team responsible for growing fundraising from $68 million per year to over $100 million per year; reached annual $100 million mark three years ahead of plan.
Associate Chair, Department of Development, Mayo Clinic. Served on leadership team for Mayo’s first comprehensive campaign, launched on 1.1.05 with goal of $1.25 billion over five years; campaign raised $1.35 billion by 12.31.09.
Harvard Business School – held positions of increasing responsibility. Provided leadership and coordinated development activity for quiet phase of $500 million campaign; drove strategy for seven and eight figure gifts
